In my opinion, one of the coolest features on Tripleblaze.com is the ability to track which trails you've hiked and which campgrounds you stayed at. Once you've logged these trails or campgrounds, they'll appear on your "My Trails" or "My CGs" list, respectively, so that you can reference them later. If you want to get started creating your very own "My Trails" and "My CGs" lists, here's how to do it:

My Trails / My Campgrounds Button

When you're on any trail or campground listing page on Tripleblaze, if you want to add that trail to your My Trails or My CGs list, all you have to do is click the "Add to 'My Trails'" button on the right hand side of the page:

Once you've clicked the button, you'll know that the trail or campground has been added to your list if it looks like this:

If you added a trail or campground to your list in error, just click that button again and it will be removed.

Finding Your Trails or Campgrounds

Of course, clicking the button is the easy part--finding the trails that you've hiked and campgrounds you've stayed at can take some doing! If you know the names of the trails that you've hiked or the campgrounds you've camped at, you can easily run a search for them using the big search bar on the home page:

As you start typing the name of the trail or campground, the search bar will try to autocomplete the name based on our database listings:

If you don't see the exact trail name, you can always hit the "search" button to view full search results.

Now, if you know that you've hiked a lot of trails or stayed at a lot of campgrounds in a specific area, you can run a search in the same search bar for your hometown or a destination you've visited. Then, from the town/city page, you can navigate to the trails or campgrounds that you've enjoyed:

Mobile App Check-Ins

If you're out riding a mountain bike trail, you can check in at the trailhead or campground using the Tripleblaze.com mobile app for iPhone and Android. Checking in via your mobile device will automatically add the trail to your My Trails or My Campgrounds list and remove it from your Wishlist.

The My Trails and My Campgrounds Lists

Now that you've created your list, you can use and analyze the data any number of ways. To get to the basic My Trails or My CGs page, click on either your public profile or your private dashboard, and then click over to your My Trails or My CGs page. From there, you can view an alphabetical list of all the trails you've hiked or the campgrounds you've stayed at:

If you navigate to your public-facing profile via the dropdown menu in the upper right hand corner of the website, you can also see a map full of pins with all of the trails you've hiked and campgrounds you've stayed at:

I personally think the most satisfying result of using the My Trails page is knowing how many trails you've hiked or campgrounds you've stayed at over the course of your entire lifetime. Thanks to Tripleblaze, you can track that data easily!

And that's not all. As you click around the website, you'll see this data used in different ways, including, but not limited to: telling you how many of the top 100 trails you've hiked and how many trails you've hiked in your home state.
